About Us

What we are here for

TPAH provides a framework for engagement in public policy to directly impact the cost of healthcare and health insurance, protecting the collective interests of small businesses, large employers, non-profits, and individual consumers.

Skyrocketing healthcare costs are a concern of both employers and consumers as the ultimate payers for healthcare. Avoiding cost escalation from unintended outcomes of seemingly well-intentioned legislative initiatives is a continuing annual threat.

Employers and their employees know the workplace reality that productivity and efficiency have a direct tie to wellness and health. An unhealthy workforce or emerging healthcare trends and concerns can negatively impact workplace productivity. Workplace morale is enhanced by a healthy workforce.

Forward-thinking organizations explore innovative approaches to encourage employee wellness programs with the aim of improving overall health outcomes and creating a more cost-effective coverage. The benefit of a healthy workforce is a positive workplace environment.  Effective personal care can change health trajectory and support the consumer’s health journey.

These consumer engagement initiatives improve quality of life, better health outcomes, and a potential reduction in pharmacy and medical service usage. Employers can play a pivotal role in offering health insurance alongside health and wellness programs, which can contribute to controlling healthcare costs for both the employer and the consumer.

The collaboration among employers, consumers, health insurers, and providers to develop benefits that support ongoing care and alleviate financial burdens is a primary goal. By maintaining a vigilant focus on consumer health and costs, TPAH is dedicated to advocate for fiscally responsible public policy affecting health insurance and fight public policy that complicates healthcare delivery to employers and employees.
